What's for lunch? 🍝 Maccheroni alla chitarra! This type of past, the thicker version of spaghetti, goes well with all kind of sauces, but my fave is tomato & basil sauce. But this is a #throwback from when we went to Abruzzo. For today, I'll make the classic maccheroni salad. Cause when summer heats and all you want is to get out of your kitchen as fast as you can, pasta salad is perfect! Zucchini, eggplants and tomatoes from my garden and feta cheese. A quick summertime lunch. Buon appetito! #Dana📸

I wish they sell that thick version of spaghetti here. I'm sure people who love heavy meals will love that thick one. Now you gave me an idea on what variation I can experiment on spaghetti. Gonna try that tomato and basil sauce combo. Then I'll put lots of cheese coz me and my boyfriend love cheesy pasta. Now I got an advance recipe for his next birthday all thanks to you. 😁
I agree that cold salads are the best when it's so hot outside. It's refreshing and healthy. 😊 The paste in the pictures looks delicious, too!
