Why education is important?

In our current time, especially in the Philippines, people are based on what level of education they have reached and what field they belong to. Usually it also depends on what we studied what kind of job we can get. The higher the education, the higher the respect received.

This is what I often used to ask myself, "why am I studying?"

When I was young I always heard my mother telling me when I was always absent from the class, "son we are poor and we are not rich, we cannot give you everything you want and only wisdom and knowledge you will get from your education is the only treasure that we can give to you that will not be stolen by anyone so keep studying and learn everything."

I used to see that when a person finished their education, they gets a good job and achieves their dreams in life, they can buy everything they want.

Most of the students don't know what the main purpose of studying is and others just come to their school not to study but because of their friends. Being a student is not far from being an employee or working because it also requires waking up early which is one of the reasons why studying is boring and mostly of the students feel lazy to goto school.

I have two colleagues here at my work, I interviewed them about why education is important and this is what they said, although both of them have finished their studies.

They were Edward Calimlim and Wilson James Cosulta.

Wilson said that the reason why education is important is to have a bright future and buy what you want in life. It is said that almost all the reasons why a person studies is because they want to change their lives through it. But it is said that not everyone who completes their studies achieves their dreams because there are people who do not want to work in fields that are not in their line or are not covered by their completed course. So most of them are unemployed and still depend on their parents.

And this was also what Edward said of why education is important in order to have a lot of wisdom compared to those who have no education and to have a good job here in the Philippines and even in other countries. But he was also said that sometimes wisdom cannot be measured in learning from school because if for example you have learned a lot because you are an educated person and also for example I am not an educated person but have a lot of experience in life, it is said that there is a high possibility that you know a lot that I didn't know but there is also a possibility that there are things that I know that you don't know. He meant to say that it still depends on the person on how he handles himself.

I learned the value of education when I was in high school, that's when I started to dream that I would finish my studies and become a policeman one day but unfortunately I was not given the chance because I wasn't even reached college with poverty. But despite everything, I have not lost hope in life because if I am given a chance to study again, I will take advantage of it to fulfill my dream.

I believe in what they say that having a good education and having a good job is not the only way to fulfill our dreams in life and get out of poverty. Because it still depends on how we do things that can give us good results.

STRATEGIES IN LIFE!

This is what I always heard before especially when I first started working in another place. Once my older brother even told me that even if we only work with the job which far from our dream job, we just need a strategy and it will also make our lives easier in the future.

We talked to someone who owned a bakeshop, he told us that he was only a high school graduate but he earns more money than they need and they have also bought cars and their own house and lot . But everything he said surprised me more, they said that their flour dealer only finished grade 3 but he is a millionaire now.

This is also one of the things that proves that not only education is the only way for our dreams but also "DISKARTE SA BUHAY. "

.

There's nothing bad to dream, let's dream as long as we can dream but let's not forget that there are no free dreams because each of them has a corresponding fee to make it come true. So if we have an opportunity to study, let's grab it right away because it's an opportunity that not everyone has.

Thank you again to my beloved readers and thank you very much for reading my article.
