Our all time favorite super duper anime Naruto had it's first episode released on 15/feb/2007. Even its so long since the release, the anime still makes it to the top ranks in other anime's. For me, a very close friend of mine persuaded me into watching it very recently but it shook me at a totally different level. It was only after watching it, I praised my friend for being so tenacious about it.

Life lessons from the series :

  • Ignorance doesn't matter : From very start of the series, Naruto is considered as a cursed child and since he had no mom dad, no body acknowledged him and everyone gave him a demotivating and worthless look. He was always filled with anger and anxiety as no one really cared about him. But this doesn't stopped him. He made his way through Ninja academy by struggling hard and staying focused for his goal of being acknowledged someday and being Hokage(best ninja of village). He channelized all the bad energy in a positive way for himself as to show people his worth and with the help of very few who believed in him and supported him, he ends up making most lovely spot in everyone's heart in village.

  • Believing in himself(self-esteem) : It is shown in the series that the first stage for anyone being recognized as ninja is to join the ninja academy. Naruto also does the same but since he is bad at most of the things and children also don't like him because of his cursed image in the village, everyone calls him a loser. Even after being called so by everyone, he never backed off and believed in himself that he will get through to become the best some day. You can say it that he was a kid with high self esteem and nothing pessimistic could have weighed him down.

  • Hard training : When everyone showed distrust and no one believed in him, he made training his close supporter. It as been shown in the show that Naruto challenges everyone to be recognized by defeating but ends up losing always. Soon as it happened, everyone would call him a loser but he wouldn't give up. Just then, he would make a hard resolve in mind to defeat him and would go and train keeping the defeat and distrust in mind. He surely learns from failure and trains hard to shine.

  • Channelizing negativity in a unique way : Negativity mostly hits a person badly ending up changing their course of life in a demolishing way. But here in this anime, Naruto shows a very unique way of channelizing negativity. Despite being all the hatred he faces, when he gains power by hard training and belief, he uses it to get himself acknowledged and helping those who were facing hard times just as he did in past. He exhibited a promising power to bring a change in a person by quoting his own example thus making the other person his comrade for life. All the negativity he faced could have made him a bitter person and he could have used his power to destroy those who loathed him instead he shows them his worth, becomes their favorite and helped others to cope with loneliness adding them to his family of well wishers.

  • Living by convictions : Throughout the series, Naruto talks of his ninja way i.e. : "Keeping his promise and never backing off on his words". Isn't this what a real man should be like. He proves through entire show how he clings to his convictions and makes things work once he takes a task. It is very precious to have convictions in life and sticking by them.

  • Respect : Naruto had very few people who believed in him from the starting. Iruka Sensei(his first teacher) being one of them. Later on Jiraiya(his second teeacher), Lady Tsunade(village hokage) and many others joined his journey of bringing peace to world. What is worth noting is that, even when he gained super powers like none of his teachers and friends, he can't take a word against them. He stands by their side keeping their golden words at the depth of his hearts and shows outmost respect to them. It has been portrayed in the anime that the words his teachers told him fueled him in his journey of greatness to bring peace.

  • Unique way of loving : There is a girl named Sakura Haruno whom Naruto loves from when he was a kid but she like the others never liked him till they ended up in same team. Even then, she treats him as a comrade only and later on as a very close friend as she loves their other friend Sasuke. But Naruto never gives up on her and saves her through every hard situation. Even after risking his life for her, when she turns her back on him for the other guy, even then he gets pacified at heart after doing something of her. He himself admits in some episode that he loves her and will keep on doing whatever he can for her even if she likes other boy.

  • Teamwork : In the series, Naruto strengthens the teamwork by analysing the abilities of his comrades so as to work with compatibility in times of battles with other group. He knows his abilities very well and always takes the works of brute force which suit him the best. He protects his team and supplements them with his power while the other play their part as per the work they are assigned.

All in all there is a lot to take away for implementation in daily life for everyone in this series. Its writer "Masashi Kishimoto" is a renowned manga writer and the series is based on his manga only. He is a mastermind after all. Motivating everyone through a medium masses would watch is really a powerful thing and one must see the beauty of principles being laid by this awesome anime.

Fill your pockets with all the goodness and teaching while you enjoy this anime.

Thanks for reading!!!!
