This Ferris wheel is really everywhere. Here it has crept inconspicuously into the time-honoured skyline of Dresden.
On the far left of the picture you can see the Frauenkirche, built in 2005. It had been there for a few centuries before that, but then it was in ruins for a while, reminding us that we shouldn't start any more wars. #peace
Today we were down by the river and visited the geese and the pigeons. It is always a small spectacle when the swarm of pigeons takes off and circles over us. And always lucky when none of them shits on our heads.
The geese are much more relaxed. You have to get very close to disturb them in their midday rest.
You already know the Ferris wheel. Today, a slightly different view of it at sunset.
My son's train was late (thanks, Deutsche Bahn) and I had enough time to take a few photos.
SOME of you might be lucky enough to find two new quizzes on Coinbase Learning Rewards. I just received $6 in XCN and NEAR. Good luck!
Anyone who has ever written/programmed a website themselves knows how important well-structured and compressed code is for fast loading times and low server/client load. noise.app brings this to perfection with just ONE line of code. A very long line, but only one.
And now I know why the style of the page looks so familiar to me. It uses the same font as I do on mine. Loaded from its own server, of course, and not from Google.
Respect, noise.app, that's how you build fast, lean websites!
You always want what you don't have at the moment. So here's a little autumn for our friends in the southern hemisphere. Have a nice spring!
The new cable router arrived today and I am thrilled.
Some people here will probably laugh about it, but 1Gbps is still the big exception here in the internet desert of Germany. And I'm glad to have this privilege.
As of today, I'm saving the second router I used to need and thus about 120-140 kilowatt hours a year. It doesn't sound like much, but it's 1/8 of my total annual consumption. And since the kilowatt hour here currently costs about 35 cents and will soon cost much more, the purchase will be worthwhile in a few years or months.
One of the more unpleasant tasks for a vegetarian is to cut off a rabbit's head. But it had to be done. He was already old.
And what you want to eat, you should also be able to kill.
"B i t c o i n drops below $44,000, good news for people who want to invest" 🤪
Please, dear spammers, think of realistic scenarios or at least send your mails in time. This one is about 2 years too late.
It's amazing how much dust can be lying around in a flat like this. And the more you wipe away, the more you find in another place.
Well, at least that way the day doesn't get boring. Today is my Friday off and thus also the involuntary household day. Someone has to do it and I am the one.
It's the same with noise.cash as it is with autumn at the moment. One colourful leaf after another falls to the ground and everything gets grey.
I think I'm the next leaf to fall and I'll move my activities to the app.
Noise brought me to social media through the mix of friendships and the opportunity to earn something with good content. Without that mix, it's kind of like any other network, which never interested me. My motivation and creativity is correspondingly low at the moment. I'm going to bundle everything that's left of it on noise.app/Cryptozeug and only visit here occasionally. Even if it's hard.
It was nice to meet you here, see you on the other side!
Ok, contradicting my last post on https://noise.app/Cryptozeug/lkr1z20p, there is something new to report. At least if you like WAX NFT #giveaways with a good chance of winning.
A new game called timberlandia is being created. I can't say exactly how and what it's going to be yet, but I think it has potential.
You can get a first contact in the giveaway, (some) entries are free for simple social tasks (Twitter/Discord) and/or with the purchase of an NFT from the collection, which is not a prerequisite for participation. In that case, I recommend the basket, but it's not on the market right now.
You have just under 12 hours left. Good luck! https://bblk.io/Qg4W
It's been two days since my last noise and to be honest there is nothing I can tell you without repeating myself.
But I can try to capture the few colours that the everyday grey has to offer. And here, too, I have the feeling of repeating myself.
I am toying with the idea of heating the house using a solar-powered Bitcoin (or whatever) mine.
Does anyone have experience in this direction?
Let's say the electricity comes from the roof, the mine runs and generates useless waste heat. How do I get that efficiently into the house's heating circuit? Water cooling and heat exchangers or are there better concepts?
The printer is the natural enemy of the computer scientist.
And I hate printers!
That's just by the way, there's nothing else nice to tell today.
You don't have to search for mushrooms in our garden. They are everywhere. You have to be careful not to trample them. My father collected these Hallimasch (Armillaria) yesterday and made a nice mushroom pan with potatoes today. I didn't know you could eat them, so I learned something again. They just have to be well cooked or fried, then they are well tolerated.
My son made us pizza tonight. It's great when you don't always have to make everything yourself.
A glass of red wine for the adults and, for once, an orange soda for the children.
As I said, family reunion - one meal follows the other...
Homemade tangerine curd cake and coffee, that can only mean one thing: A family reunion at the family home.
That also explains why I'm hardly ever to be seen here, there's simply not enough time. Sorry, but some, few, things, are more important than life online. See you later, noisers. I'll be in touch when I have time again.
A quiet autumn day where we could see the moon all day. A rare sight and always beautiful.
Plus a long phone call from my friend who was in hospital. He is doing better and the plan for further treatment is in place. That reassures me a lot.
All in all, not a bad day, which is now coming to an end.
And here it is, the weekly #free #PC #games post. Starting today, Epic Games is giving you two games that couldn't be more different.
-Darkwood
"Darkwood - a new perspective on survival horror. Scavenge and explore a rich, ever-changing free-roam world by day, then hunker down in your hideout and pray for the morning light."
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuv6Zy3FIZM
- ToeJam & Earl are Back... in the Groove!
"ToeJam and Earl have crash-landed back on Earth in ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!, a funky fresh rogue-like adventure infused with old skool hip-hop and jam packed with awesome throwbacks to the 1991 classic. Original Funk Lord (and co-creator) Greg Johnson is back at the helm with the sequel that ToeJam and Earl fans have been waiting for!
The iconic ‘90s duo is back in the groove with all-new presents to help them navigate this wack planet "Earth" and retrieve all the lost pieces to the Rapmaster Rocket. Team up for 4-player co-op play to discover secret locations, hidden presents and new friends as you make your way through a constantly changing and unpredictable world! Maybe ToeJam and Earl shouldn't have taken the Rapmaster Rocket on an intergalactic joyride again, but they probably have a good reason... right? Right.
ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove! is a mash-up of the very best features of the classic console games with a ton of fresh improvements. Grab some homies and get ready for a blast of funky nostalgia as you help ToeJam and Earl return once again to Funkotron."

As always, I hope you have fun!

Now we can be friends!
This new update of Atomichub can be a gamechanger in NFT trading. Now it's possible to make a friends list and initiate trades easier. No more "What's your wam?"
I'm looking foreward to the benefits of this feature. Hope, some people will say yes to my request.
The option "Available soon" will soon no longer be available.
Thank you, Outlook! 🙄
I did some painting this morning.
No, just kidding, it was real and only slightly edited.
A few minutes of beauty before the day begins.
After that beautiful, almost mystical sunrise, I was actually expecting a beautiful day.
It was tolerable, but somehow I was left with an empty feeling. I don't know why, maybe I just need more sleep.
I don't think it will be a major problem, but noise.cash no longer shows any posts and my own profile is not displayed either, which makes me a bit nervous.
After all, one should not wish anyone anything bad. But to the tram driver who was just closing the doors and driving off when I reached the tram running, I wish a power cut on the outskirts of the city in the middle of the night in pouring rain! 🤬

Do you know this one?
Today, my colleague recommended an ointment for my back pain that I still know from my childhood in the GDR. Back then I used it against a blocked nose, the essential oils work quite well.
I was sure I still had some left over from back then and after a long search they turned up. As usual, I almost broke my fingernails when I opened them. There's still a little left and I'll go to try it tonight.
I don't know if it's a good idea to use an ointment that's 30 years old or more but I'll find out soon.
It's still around, now in a screw-top jar after small tin cans and fingernails were running low. Thanks for the third picture to my colleague.
Do you know the ointment and if so, what do you use it for?
Many greetings to @Henry897's nephew who is obviously a big fan of these posts. He's probably waiting for his weekly #free #PC #games again today.
Epic Games is giving you two games again this week. Both revolve around the theme of damnation and hell and are not too appealing graphically, but musically they are. Friends of cultivated heavy metal will feel at home here.
- Rising Hell
Rising Hell is a vertical platformer filled with adrenaline pumped action and tons of heavy gothic metal shredding. Climb out of the ever-changing hell as you battle hordes of bloodthirsty demons.
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-2q0rB6f-g
- Slain: Back From Hell
Slain: Back from Hell. A heavy metal themed arcade fighting game with puzzle elements and blood as far as the eye can see. Stunning graphics and classic gameplay get accompanied by the most metal soundtrack ever.

As always, I hope you have fun!
This day started well.
Yesterday @ArtistByron asked on twitter for suggestions for new NFTs. My sick brain suggested an undead flying spaghetti monster, #FSM, and bang - this morning mint #1 was in my wallet. You know, I NEVER smile. But this morning I had to. Thank you, Byron!
