The new cable router arrived today and I am thrilled. Some people here will probably laugh about it, but 1Gbps is still the big exception here in the internet desert of Germany. And I'm glad to have this privilege. As of today, I'm saving the second router I used to need and thus about 120-140 kilowatt hours a year. It doesn't sound like much, but it's 1/8 of my total annual consumption. And since the kilowatt hour here currently costs about 35 cents and will soon cost much more, the purchase will be worthwhile in a few years or months.

The speed is great, but please also write how much you pay for your internet connection monthly or annually.
That's 50€ a month and I know it's a luxury. But it's important for my business and of course I'm happy in my private life too.
I pay only 16 euros for 100 Mbs, but we don't have cable distribution here. That speed is enough for me.
You would not get such a connection for that price here. But I'm sure it's enough. That's the most many of the cities can get here and we pay 30, maybe 40.

There is a difference in the separations of the numbers. You have 16 Mbps, here it is ~1000 But no matter how fast, the main thing is online.
It’s barely online here. My Netflix took forever to connect 😅

What I use is the cheapest plan, which is under $20 per month. For speeds like you it is the most expensive package maybe around $1000 per month in Indonesia.
This is a mobile plan, right? We pay that per GB here, not so much for speed.
No this is home internet plan, for mobile plan we can only maximum 7mbps.
Ok, that is both, slow and expensive. Hope it will get better over time.
