That surprises me.
200 people who show interest in my nonsense. I didn't think it would happen so quickly, nor that there would be so many real people left from the many .cash followers.
I'm really excited to see what happens here, even if 2 platforms are still a bit too much for me. Anyway, it's great that we can now paste screenshots here.
Mystery solved! @Pfingstrose wondered last week if the Ferris wheel was getting built or taken down. I think we have found the solution.
And because everything is so grey right now, I've thrown some more colour on it.
The best thing about a Monday morning is to realise that it's a holiday and you can sleep for another 6 hours.
It's the first time in weeks that I feel reasonably well rested. Have a nice day, noisers!
Somehow I like this picture. Ok, I just posted it at noise.cash but I think it finds its place here too. For me it shows consent. One doesn't want a visit, the other is okay with it. Rare harmony.
Consent - When one person does not want anyone to enter their property and the other person agrees.
On the "hunt" for bees, the butterfly came into my lens, sitting calmly in the midst of the bees. If you look very closely, you can also see at least two bees in the first picture.
The ivy is really a good place for them in autumn.
Another week has passed and once again Epic Games gives you 2 #free #PC #games.
Both are again very fast and very chaotic but I think I'll at least get a closer look at the first one.
- The Drone Racing League Simulator
"The DRL Simulator is the leading experience in FPV racing games and simulators. The DRL Sim offers a comprehensive and constantly evolving range of features, including extremely exciting drone racing. It includes race tracks where the real DRL pilots fly, and more get added with each season."
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUuhLkKpBi0
- Runbow
"Runbow is the party platformer you've been waiting for! With tons of characters, costumes, and crazy game modes, Runbow is full of colourful chaos that you just have to experience for yourself."
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24tvlbiijBc
(Yes, this is not a PC trailer, I couldn't find it)
As always, I hope you enjoy it!
Meanwhile, the weather here is so disgusting that even Fat Berta, who likes to visit us, doesn't care that she's not allowed to come in at work. And somehow it almost seems as if someone has prepared a place for her in the dry. And if that doesn't work out, she still has some shelter from the rain under the glass roof.
Anyway, she calms the nerves and sometimes her presence is the best thing on a grey and sad day.
Every now and then I read a post here about donations and where they come from. In fact, I also wonder about the relatively constant small transactions from quite a small number of senders. I wouldn't say I've been particularly active here lately either, which would justify the donations.
In any case, I have my suspicions about how this happens, but of course I'm not sure.
One thing would interest me, though: Is there anyone here who has registered their BCH address but has NOT yet received any donations? That would bring a new level to the consideration. Maybe your answers will shed some light on the matter.
Sorry, I don't feel like communicating right now.
A good friend is in hospital with a serious problem and I am very worried.
Maybe more than he worries himself. "I'll get over it..."
If you believe in energy transfers or prayers, which I don't, send him some!
Another weekend with almost no noise from me. That's because of real life. I'm leaving town today to meet up with good old friends again after many years this evening. And I'm sure it will be just like it used to be. Looking forward to it.
The sunrise today was... special.
At first it looked quite "normal", then 5 minutes later this sight. Great, that's how a day can start.
The fog got even thicker, on the way to work we could hardly see the road. It's getting autumn!
It's #free #PC #game Thursday again and once again Epic is giving you two games for free.
The first one was already available a while ago and I didn't have much fun with it, to be honest. The second one looks too stressful for me personally, but certainly has a lot of dark humour.
Nevertheless, I don't want to deprive you of both of them.
- ARK: Survival Evolved
"You are stranded on the shores of a mysterious island and must learn to survive. Skillfully line up to kill or tame the primeval creatures that roam the land, and find other players to survive, dominate ... and escape!"
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fIAPcVdZO8
- Gloomhaven
"Whether you're drawn to Gloomhaven for the adventures or lured by the glimmer of gold in the dark, your fate is sure to be the same ..."
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tQCpXixolE
As always, I hope you enjoy!
Now I'm excited, got a Monkeypack.
And as always, the question: open, sell, keep?
I guess I will decide it tomorrow.
Just got this spam mail from the sender "winner" and they forgot the spam!
I have a right to my spam!
They really get dumber and dumber. 😖
I think by now word has spread that we can set addresses for tips here in our profile settings. That's what I did, of course. The only thing I don't like is Paypal, too much KYC. I want to keep it crypto.
Train station, street art, gaming, wolf, eagle, mushrooms, unusual number of people, tram chaos, mediocre cooking, motorway without traffic jams.
Fast forward through a rather extraordinary weekend that, as always, ends far too quickly. I'm not sure if I'm recovered or exhausted. But the Eagle was definitely the highlight.
I wish you a good start to the week, especially to the colleagues who are "allowed" to start again tomorrow.
Scary? Don't worry, the wolf is not as lively as it looks. One of our finds at the forest festival today.
Of course, mushrooms are not to be missed, it's autumn and we were in the forest... And if you want to see more impressive eagles, I recommend https://noise.cash/post/009nwgnb087j.
A really nice day for father and son.
Today we were able to experience a falconer's demonstration - a birds of prey show.
The first majestic bird is the largest prey-grabbing bird in the world (there are larger scavengers), the Kamchatka giant sea eagle with a wingspan of 2.40m. An impressive animal.
The white-headed sea eagle immediately seized the opportunity for a flight of flight, or let's call it a sightseeing flight. A few minutes later it was suddenly perched on the fence. Surrounded by stupid people who almost scared him away again. I, as a not so stupid person, only took a picture from a distance.
The golden eagle, which is also used for wolf hunting, was so relaxed that it was even allowed to touch it.
A great experience for my son and also for me behind the camera.
It's a scandal that I haven't written anything here for three days, but I'm still having some difficulty with the noise balancing act.
But I'm glad that the suggestions for translation are being heard and are already being implemented. It brings back the good old noise feeling.
A few more finds from our walk today. Glued street art, easy to remove and does not "damage" the buildings.
It's nice to see how nature is reclaiming areas.
The used car dealership on the old station site doesn't seem to be very popular, but the plants like it. I'm curious to see when the car will have completely disappeared.
Backup time! No backup, no pity!
This is your irregular reminder to back up your data.
I'm doing this right now and have 15-20 hours left.... Usually it's done in half an hour. I'm not saying that Acronis should do something about its routines, but I'm worried about the hardware.
If you have good experiences with free backup and restore software, I would be happy to receive a recommendation.
It's #free #PC #game Thursday and today Epic Games is giving away something again. This time two games, of which at least the first has a very good reputation. But also the second one looks quite funny.
- Spirit of the North
Spirit of the North is a single-player 3rd-person adventure game inspired by the breathtaking and mysterious landscapes of Iceland. Play as an ordinary red fox whose story becomes entwined with the guardian of the Northern Lights, a female spirit fox.
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fZBM6iKUrg
- The Captain
Fly as fast as you can across the galaxy back home. Make new friends. Make new enemies. You can't save them all. Who will you leave behind? Which civilisations will you save - or destroy - along the way? The decision is entirely yours.
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mlz8L0Zk4cM
As always, have fun!
Look who's coming around the corner!
Another bee, of course, I can't help it when they're around. But they are just too fast to get a REALLY sharp picture.
New Cointiply promo code: LOGICALLY
I love well-made and fast error pages.
I just searched for a (not yet registered) user here using the URL (noise.app/username) and got this message after less than half a second:
"We searched for a really long time, but still couldn't find it. We're sorry!"
"Wir haben wirklich lange gesucht, konnten es aber immer noch nicht finden. Es tut uns leid!"
That made me smile. A truly successful translation this time. 🤩
Really sucks to help good friends from the house carry the last things downstairs and then say goodbye. Everything gets a little greyer. No worries, nobody died, they just change the residence. I hope the new residents are real humans, too.
I am always amazed at the ingenuity of nature. Here, for example, a spider builds its web using a small berry as a foundation. Threads run off in all directions, not very symmetrical but still functional.
Great little disgusting builders.
More brilliant nature in the form of bees can be found on the adult noise. https://noise.cash/post/59w2676c3mj9
An unmistakable sign that autumn is beginning. Behind the office, the ivy is starting to bloom and, as every year, it provides the perfect bee pasture. Hundreds of bees are on their way to refuel before winter.
It's a bit exciting to take photos in the middle of this swarm, but since I'm not made of ivy, they let me be. I look forward to these few weeks all year and am always glad when the bees are back.
