In a way, it’s what we are programmed to do. When a love one is in pain, what do we do. We try to cheer them up, right. We accompany them, maybe give presents, or just listen to them. It’s painful for us to see our loved ones hurt. Sometimes we compromise to try to make things right. Our Father in heaven also doesn’t like to see us in pain. But unlike us, He knows what is right and what is good for us in the long run. We lack the ability to see the big picture. He comforts us with this verse. For He loves us more than we could ever understand.

Still trying to get used to the noisecash app. Well, one problem is there is no IOS app…yet. So I don’t know how different the website is from the app. I do miss all my friends that I had on the noisecash original. I transferred over to the app, so I can’t post there. I look forward to seeing how the app develops and continues to improve. I know it will. :)

Have you ever seen such a good deal as this? Even better, it’s not a deal, it’s the truth. The Lord loves us so much, it boggles the mind. But He doesn’t force us to love us back. He wants us to choose to love Him. This isn’t as easy as we will know. When we want others to love us, we behave differently. We tend to bribe or manipulate our way into the hearts of others. However, our Lord is a loving Lord and wonderful father. He doesn’t compromise. He is righteous and will do what He knows us right. He wants to have a relationship with us. All we have to do is accept Him and seek Him.

Having a bad time, reflect about it, talk to the Lord, “ Why is this happening?” Look for an answer. Quite often when my world is upside down, I ask what the Lord needs me to do. Sometimes, I feel that going through trouble might be for me, but it also might be for someone else. Peradventure, both of us. God makes sure that everything works together and when a door closes, another for opens. Don’t keep standing at the closed door, find a new one that is open. This is your chance. #jesuslives

The world can be overwhelming with problems, pressure, pleasures, and everything else. It’s easy to fall into the habit of letting it for the way we think and live our lives. We live in a society where media glamorizes negative thinking and problems. However, this isn’t all true. A lot if it are distractions created to confound us or just to make profit. It’s nothing. Like Ecclesiastics says- it’s just vapor.. smoke…nothing. This verse reminds us the importance that we need to refresh our renew our minds. We need to keep our eye on what’s important. That’s the Lord.

If you put Him first in everything you do, things usually go pretty well. It’s when we don’t consider this and just do what we want that our lives get messy. We can look at the life of king David. When you read it, in the first part, he consults the Lord for everything. However, after things are pretty good, he stops this habit. Then he starts to do his own will, and we know the story and the places he screwed up. However, even when we are in trouble, never forget that God is there with us, waiting for us to involve Him in our lives.

“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” Deuteronomy 31:6 RV1895 https://bible.com/bible/1922/deu.31.6.RV1895 Today’s verse should encourage us. This is what Moses told the Israelites as they were preparing to leave him behind and continue to the Promised Land. Even though he wouldn’t be with them, God would. And God would take care of them. This is encouraging because, just like us, they screw up. They get distracted, they sin, and then they seek the Lord for forgiveness. This sounds familiar because it’s the story of my life. I don’t worship other gods, or burn incense, but i fall off the straight and narrow. Little things distract me from being the worshiper that I want to be. Of course, the good news is that regardless of what we do, God is always ready to forgive us and be our strength. It seems as if my whole life is trying to learn how to walk with the Lord, but like a child, I fall. Christ is always there to help me. I can only hope that one day I will be worthy of His love and able to walk with Him without stumbling.

John 8:12 Today's verse is an amazing reminder of the Lord's almighty power and eloquent ability to express complex meaning in a way that everyone can understand. Darkness can never compete against light. Light always wins because darkness is nothing, while light is energy. Such simple and powerful words. He is our savior and king. When you are lost or in a challenging place, don't fear, because He is with you. Reach out to Him and bring Him into your life. If you have the light, make sure to share with others. His love and sacrifice is for everyone that wants it.

Today we played a guessing game to help students remember the vocabulary and question. They have to put a card in their head without looking at it, then guess. They had a fun time.
