The verse of the day is one that can help us understand the purpose of the instructions in the Bible. The Bible is usually seen almost see as a text book rather than a book on life.

People use it to argue which Christian sect is correct and damn the others as heretics. It’s used to justify theological arguments. But the big question is do this people put the verses in their hearts and live by them? Or do they just use this marvelous gift as a weapon to justify hatred?

I think the Bible was meant to be a book of knowledge and a book of life. If one truly aspires to live the life the Lord wants us to, we must know the Word and live by the Word.

But that’s just me. What do you think??
