Why do We have HOPE

“but sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord: being ready always to give answer to every man that asketh you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, yet with meekness and fear:”

Today’s verse is one that makes us different from nonbelievers. That is those of us who keep the Lord in our hearts have an ace in the hole. Regardless of the nasty and messed up situation in the world, we have hope. We understand that we have something greater than the world can offer.

We have the knowledge of the love that the Lord has for us. This alone is greater than all that the world has to offer. However, we have to keep this in our hearts when the world is breathing down our necks and causing all kinds of chaos. We are not of this world. We are CD of the Lord.

Finally, we have to be ready to share this knowledge humbly with others that can’t understand why we are not reacting to the world situation as they are. A lot of fake Christian’s have discredited the name of Christ and turned many nonbelievers away. We must be patient, humble, and loving to show the what it truly means to be a follower of Christ.
