We are the Temple

“Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”

Today’s verse is a call to take into account our actions and words. Since we a temple when God dwells, our behavior is a reflection of His church.

It’s not easy living in the world. It never had been. But it seems there are more temptations, idles, instant gratification, and poor examples (role models). However, it’s how we interact in the world that gives us the greatest chance to spread the Word of God by spreading the attitude of our Lord.

Our society fills our lives with examples of how not to behave. TV, movies, social media, and even music. Even though we are bombarded by these poor examples, we must not fall into the temptation that it’s cool or fun to act in this way.

We know what we should do. If there is any questions about that, we know where to check. We have the Holy Bible. Read the Word of God and everything will get more clear.
