Today’s verse comes from Ecclesiastes, the wonderful book that reminds us that everything is meaningless without the Lord.
Today we are reminded that two are better than one. This is true in almost every way. However, if we think about it, people were probably not made to be alone, too live alone. From very early on, the Lord saw that Adam needed someone.
Today, a lot of our toil is mental, even though we are stuck in a physical world. A lot of our greatest struggles are psychological and spiritual. During these struggles, we are better off sharing with other that we trust and love.
Remember, you are never alone. The Lord is with you.
