The Word Good

“For the LORD is good; his mercy endureth for ever; And his faithfulness unto all generations.”

Today’s verse uses the word “good”. Good is a simple word, but it has such a deep meaning here. Here good means He has endless mercy us. Good means he will be faithful to all generations. Good means he loves us.

However, there is so much more. This word is a super word. It’s goes above and beyond the normal meaning of good. I wish I could replace it with a better word, but I don’t have one.

This good means that He loves us so much he has sacrificed His most beloved son for us. Our good Shepard is never going to give up on us. He’s never going to accept our resignation.

Remember this and have a “good” day. We have a lot to be thankful for.
