Sincere Prayer

“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thine inner chamber, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret, and thy Father which seeth in secret shall recompense thee.”

Today’s verse it’s great. I love this because it’s really explains how to pray and to have an intimate relationship with Him.

All too often we see individuals that claim to be praying and worshiping Him but are just putting On a show for others. They seek approval and want to convince others of their holiness and piety. They are not honestly seeking approval of our heavenly Lord.

So when we pray, let’s put our heart on it. Let’s focus on the Lord and not others. For it is truly He that we want to impress. Whether you pray out loud or in silence, focus on Him.
