Simple Salvation

“for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Today’s verse is the proof that we are loved. The Lord has done everything to get us to Him. He did all the hard work, now the ball is in our court. Now it’s our job to perform a tough task.

Wait, all we have to do is believe? That’s not even difficult for most of us. That’s great.

I think for some people this is difficult, because in our society, especially entertainment, “Jesus” is the butt of jokes. Sometimes, Hollywood portraits Christians as superstitious fools. People who grew up with this idea, might have trouble finding the truth and really believing in Christ.

Other people experienced false priests or preachers that abused the power that they had in the name of Christ. Wars have also been started in the name of Christ.

It’s important that we share the true Christ with those that have less than accurate images of the Lord or bad experiences.
