Shadow and the Light

“And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not.”

Today’s verse is a a proclamation of spiritual truth and scientific fact. What I mean by this is Jesus is the light and darkness will not, cannot, and shall not go towards Him. Just as when the gospels were written, we are CD living in dark times. Some things are better, somethings are worse, and something are different- but the world is still a dark place to live. We have too turn towards the light, go to the light, and want the light to escape the dark and sinful world of flesh.

From a scientific point of view, darkness is the absence of light. Light is something (energy), while darkness is ….. nothing. That’s profound. The darkness of the world is nothing, but the light of Jesus Christ is everything.
