Seek Him

“Seek ye the LORD and his strength; seek his face evermore.”

Today’s verse reminds us that God is so much more than we imagine. Most people come to the Lord when in need. They need strength to get through a tough time. Or they need help to get through a sticky situation. Or they need health or a miracle. The list really goes on. But choosing different aspects of the Lord doesn’t make sense to me.

Seek all of Him! Give praise and glory. Seek His face. When you do, you will be flooded with peace, grace, and providence. Don’t put God in a little box in the wall and label it “in case of emergency.” Bring Him into your life.

God gives us so much more than we need. He is so much more than we can comprehend. His love is endless just like his forgiveness and mercy. He is loyal to us even when we are not loyal to Him.

Give thanks and praise. Seek Him.
