Satisfaction through the Lord

“For I have satiated the weary soul, and every sorrowful soul have I replenished.”

Today’s verse reminds us how complete biblical scriptures are and how the New Testament can be found in the old and vice versa.

Jeremiah really went through a lot and had a difficult time performing his task of profit of the Lord. The Lord was there for him giving him the necessary strength to endure the trials and tribulations that the other Jews at the time were giving him.

God takes this a step further through the loving sacrifice of Himself in His Son Jesus Christ. Through the ultimate sacrifice, He has truly satisfied every weary and sorrowful soul for this that seek the Lord and have confidence in His loving Grace.
