Relax and Forgive

Wow. Today’s verse really shows Jesus’ love and how cool he is. The last time he saw the disciples, they abandoned him. For the longest time, he had been preparing them for that moment and they got scared. Jesus could have reprimanded them for their lack of love and trust. But he doesn’t. It’s not even mentioned.

He is happy to see them and he loves them. How would we have handled that moment? Would we have said something bitter or sarcastic? Would it have been an “I told you so, Peter!” Moment?

People made mistakes. The Lord knows that no one is perfect and He doesn’t expect people to be perfect. Today, live with this idea. People are not perfect. We are all flawed.

Let’s try to be like our Lord and Savior. Let’s forgive and forget.
