Pray in the Holy Spirit
“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.”
Jude 1:20-21 RV1895 https://bible.com/bible/1922/jud.1.20-21.RV1895
Today’s verse means a lot to me. I have always found it important to build up everyone, but especially followers of Christ.
Unfortunately, there are different denominations that teach hatred, spite, and malice to people who believe in Christ, but are different. For me this is like politics. Political parties will sacrifice the country to remain in power. In the same way, people who are willing to break down others due to a difference in which church they follow, regardless if they are followers of Jesus Christ.
For me, it doesn’t matter what church one goes to, I never pass up a chance to engage in dialogue about the greatness of the Lord and his amazing message.
Be constructive with each other. The body of Christ has many parts and they are all important. Praise together, praise loudly, and put petty differences dictated by men aside. Christ is Lord.
