Peacemakers keep making Peace

Matthew 5:9

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."

Today's verse is a call to all of us. We all want to be children of God. We all desire to do his will and give Him thanks and praise. If we didn't, we wouldn't be reading this.

Since we want to be His children, we are called to be peacemakers. Being a peacemaker is easier than most think. Once you have Jesus as your savior and in your heart, the rest should fall into place.

If we truly want to be His children, we give Him everything. He will watch over us and provide. All we have to do is keep a loving attitude and remember that the people who we dislike or are angry at are His creations, too. They are his children, too. Even though they may be lost at the moment, we should be understanding and loving.

Let's all be peacemakers of Jesus Christ. Let's keep Him in our hearts, minds, and decisions.
