Papas Day

Happy Father’s Day. One thing we all have in common is that we all have the same Heavenly Father! Amen! Today’s verse reminds us of this. And just like any parent, He doesn’t like to see us burdened and troubled. However, rejoice! He knows that what we need to go through and He has our best intentions. He’s looking at the big picture. A lot of the hurt we experience comes from our personal perspective.

Father’s Day is a special day for me because I lost my earthly father a few years ago. I know he is with our Heavenly Father.

Being a father or mother is never easy. Everyone needs to go through difficult times. It’s those moments that help us to grow the most and become the person that the Lord wants us to be.

Give thanks and praise to your Heavenly Father.

** My family will celebrate Father’s Day on August 8th. Since I live in Taiwan, we celebrate it with my wife’s family. It’s interesting because 8/8 pronounce “ba ba” it’s similar to the pronunciation of papa in mandarin.
