“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭6‬ ‭RV1895‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/1922/psa.23.6.RV1895 Today’s verse is one of joy and happiness. We are members of the Lord’s family and He will care for us. This reminds me of how lucky we are to have such a loving and attentive Shepard. He is always on our side even when we aren’t. All too often, we think something is beneficial or desirable, but it’s not. He will gently point us back to the right path. If we continue, he is still watching and caring for us. We are also lucky to have such a kind and caring Father. Take heed to his wisdom and forgiveness. Every time I read the old testament and see Israel’s sin and betrayal, I think of my own life and my own sins. I rejoice at His loving forgiveness.
