Overcome evil

“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:21‬ ‭RV1895‬‬ bible.com/bible/1922/rom.12.21.RV1895 Today’s verse is one of those that is truly supernatural. I say it’s supernatural because in nature, violence begets violence. This can be seen in the animal kingdom and our modern society. It’s not just eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth, it’s usually much worse. This can be demonstrated by watching the nightly news or nature programs. Therefore, I think this attitude is overcoming evil with good demonstrates the higher more powerful nature that the Lord teaches and instructed us to use. It’s one of those ideas that’s easy to preach, but hard when caught in the moment. Imagine how different world would be if everyone who claimed to be Christians put this into practice. From accidents to workplaces to society in general.
