Not a Slack Lord

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering to you-ward, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Today’s verse reminds us that the Lord has the big picture in mind. For us, we may feel that the Lord is slow to take action, but don’t be confused.

He is faithful and keeps his promises. We are the ones that break our promises and need to ask for forgiveness. We are the ones that know what we should do, but choose to sin.

Relax and trust in the Lord. He will not let you down.
