My Shield and Hiding spot

“Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.”

Today’s verse tells us that I’m by the arms of our Heavenly Father we are safe and secure. There’s something special about a hiding place. When we are somewhere that we know we are hidden and safe, a lot of negative feelings disappear. A lot of pressure that we carry disappears.

When we trust in the Lord, we have safety beyond safety. There is something secure and loving being in the arms of the parent that we love. And that is the feeling that we have with Him.

However, sometimes it’s hard and we might feel that He had left us. But rest assured, He has not.
