Morning Psalm

“Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee.”

Today’s verse is a great one to start the day the right way. Put your trust in the Lord to give your day purpose and let Him guide your steps.

I love this verse, especially when I feel I can’t finish all that I know I should do. Instead of focusing on a to-do list, I let the Lord set my priorities and do what I can. Sometimes, I end up completely in a different place and sometimes I finish what I set out to do. The important point is that the Lord is trustworthy and He will guide me.
