I originally posted this on PublishOx, but I think that was a mistake. I like that platform, but it not for deep thinkers. I would like more reactions and comments. I don't really care about tips. If you read, let me know what you think. I can take honesty.
I love a good conspiracy as much as the next bloke. It’s hard to know who to trust and who not to trust. Even more than that, many will debate that it is hard to know who is in charge of everything. This is especially true in the current state of the world. While enjoying some videos on conspiracies, I ran into one that revolved around cryptocurrency. It was called Microsoft Patent 666 or, more accurately called WO2020060606 - CRYPTOCURRENCY SYSTEM USING BODY ACTIVITY DATA.
When I said that I enjoy a good conspiracy, that’s what I meant. I enjoy them because they demonstrate a new way of thinking about an issue or topic. While some conspiracies are better formed and make more sense than others, I seldom go in hook line and sinker. So I am presenting what I learned about this. First, and most interesting, it is a legal patent. Check this out here!
The webpage above that contained the patent information belongs to the WIPO. If you’re not familiar with that, neither was I. It means worldwide intellectual property organization. The global forum is taking care of intellectual property services, such as policy, information, and cooperation. It is also an agency of the United Nations that strives to benefit all by keeping track of intellectual properties. Okay, so far, it seems legit.
On the actual page linked above, the title to the patent is” CRYPTOCURRENCY SYSTEM USING BODY ACTIVITY DATA.” Under the abstract, it says, “Human body activity associated with a task provided to a user may be used in a mining process of a cryptocurrency system. A server may provide a task to a device of a user which is communicatively coupled to the server. A sensor communicatively coupled to or comprised in the device of the user may sense body activity of the user. Body activity data may be generated based on the sensed body activity of the user. The cryptocurrency system communicatively coupled to the device of the user may verify if the body activity data satisfies one or more conditions set by the cryptocurrency system, and award cryptocurrency to the user whose body activity data is verified.” This is a direct quote.
So as it seems so far, it is used for monitoring the human body and mining cryptocurrency. At first, I thought of all the conspiracy theories about the COVID vaccine, but there is no mention of the device’s location. If you take a deep breath and think about it, it could be anything from a smartwatch to an RFID chip like in Sweden or a nanochip. So I’m not claiming to know or throwing anything exciting out there just to get likes. This is just the facts that I found.
There are 15 claims that explain a little more of the connection to cryptocurrency. Feel free to do your own research and draw your own conclusion. Here’s claim number one: “A cryptocurrency system, comprising: one or more processors; and memory storing executable instructions that, if executed by the one or more processors, configure the cryptocurrency system to: communicate with a device of a user; receive body activity data which is generated based on body activity of the user, wherein the body activity is sensed by a sensor communicatively coupled to or comprised in the device of the user; verify if the body activity data of the user satisfies one or more conditions set by the cryptocurrency system; and award cryptocurrency to the user whose body activity data is verified.” Direct quote from the website above.
So here, it seems like a verification system, possibly a proof system and memory storage. The first benefit of this would be verifying that a user is a human and not a robot. There is a lot of research on the RFID chips that are approved by the FDA for use in humans (NIH website). It could also be another level of security for our accounts until it gets hacked.
Now the problem that really cries conspiracy is the numbering. There are already groups of conspiracy theorists calling the COVID vaccination “the mark of the beast 666”. Many people refuse to get a vaccination believing that it is the infernal or demonic mark warned of in the Bible. “16 He causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 so that no one may buy or sell, except he who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name. 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is 666.”- Relevations 13:17-18
I heard about it under the title ‘Microsoft Patent 666’. Upon researching it, as mentioned in the beginning, it is WO2020060606. So there are three sixes separated by zeros. Not exactly 666, but I can understand how it might ring some alarm bells. Also, as mentioned, there is no location mentioned. Unfortunately, there was not enough information for conclusive proof to the two biggest questions:
*Is it in the vaccinations?
*Is it the mark of the beast?
I think that this technology is fascinating. Could it be used for ulterior motives, of course? I thought that the concept of the future of cryptocurrency mining is done on the human body, fascinating. Do your own research. Come to your own conclusions. And live your own life.
