Lunch with wife

Todays lunch with my wife. For starters, we have black tree fungus, tofu, and liver with ginger. So delicious. Want some? The black tree fungus has many names and it’s a very healthy dish. Probably the strangest and most accurate name for texture is Judas ear- the texture is really like.an ear.

The next dish is fried sweet potatoes. It’s also coated and fried in sweet potato starch, giving it the bright orange appearance.

The final dish is hand made dumplings. This is the speciality in this Hakka Chinese restaurant.

To finish, we had some black pineapple tea.
