Love thy Neighbor

“but I say unto you, Love your enemies, and pray for them that persecute you;”

Today’s verse is a wonderment and foundation of following Christ that really separates us from other religions. It’s ideas like this that really move us to a higher level of spirituality. This idea of loving your enemies is really supernatural. There are no animals that behave in this manner.

Unfortunately, I think it’s also a consciously forgotten part of Christianity. Even though Christianity has over 2000 years of history, there have been millions killed in the name of Christianity.

I wish all of our brothers and sisters would take this verse to heart and love our enemies. Pray for those that persecute us. Have faith that God will fight our battles.
