Living water

“Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

Today’s verse is one of praise and glory. It’s the day that Jesus announced that he is the rock from which kind waters flow.

Water is a very powerful symbol. It’s a source of life for the physical body. Without it, nothing can survive.

For us, Jesus is the source of everlasting life. Those who believe are saved. Hallelujah.
