Lead me

Today’s verse is one of those masterpieces that have few words but a meaning that can bless us away when we meditate on it.

David is contemplating things he can do and how God will always be with him and love him. To further this, David is one of those people in the Bible that are like us. While there are profits that ask forgiveness or never get angry at those persecuting then, David is quite different.

In quite a few Psalms, he asks for his enemies to be struck down or have terrible punishments. If memory serves me correct, he doesn’t ask that for Saul because he’s God’s appointed. But there are more than a few others that he asks for divine revenge.

We can be like that at times. We should know better and live as Jesus did. But wherever we are and whatever we are doing, the Lord is with us and He loves us.
