Knowledge and discernment

“And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment; so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and void of offence unto the day of Christ;”

Such a beautiful verse. This is from Paul to the Philippians. A church and Christian community that he set up and watched grow. Such a personal experience in the development and conversations of others.

This wish is beautiful because it directs us to be closer to the Lord. The more love we have towards the knowledge of Christ and discernment between the God and bad choices, the more likely we are to become more pleasing to the Lord and develop a more intimate relationship with Him.

The more intimate the relationship the better we adjust our lives to Him and his will. The better the can serve, worship and praise Him
