Jesus never Changes

Today’s verse trumps social morals. Our society changes with popular trends. Look at meaningless moral issues like smoking and talking on the cell phone in public or public transportation. Smoking used to be accepted, but now it’s not. Talking in cell phones on public transportation used to be frowned upon. Now, it’s normal.

These are two little things that have changed completely in my life. But if you look at bigger issues…. You get the idea. Morals are commonly based on society and they change. Even countries and cultures have different definitions of right and wrong/good and bad.

We can take relief in the fact that Christ doesn’t change and His gospels don’t change. They are, were, and will be the same forever. If you are confused about what to do, read the Bible, pray about it, and like David- consult the Lord before taking action.
