Humility in our Mindset

“Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:”

Today’s verse is simple and true. We need to have the van mindset of Christ.

What was the mindset of Christ? Every account in the gospel is one of humility and love. It’s all about putting others first through love, sacrifice, and humility. Can we do this? Certainly.

Our society teaches us to be proud and do things by oneself, for oneself. Wow. That’s pretty much the opposite of what Christ did. While you are be important, loved, special, unique, and blessed, we need to someone put others first.

Simple things we can do is listen, love, and humble ourselves to others.

Listen to those whom have something to say. Love those that we should usually ignore or avoid. Humble ourselves by pushing our ego back and letting others shine.

Today, make an effort to do something in Christ mindset. If you find it easy, try doing something that you don’t want to do or something out of your comfort zone.
