For the Glory of God

“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”

Today’s verse reminds us that regardless of what we do, if we truly love the Lord, we should do it in a way that glorifies Him and show others how true believers act and behave.

Our society is becoming more and more individualized and focused on personal happiness. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But as believers and followers of Christ, we should want to show our love and praise for Him.

If it’s difficult to decide if you should do something or act in a certain way, you can ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. The Lord loves you, and everyone else. He wants everyone to love one another. If that comes in the way of our happiness, and we are truly followers of Christ, we might need to reevaluate our perspective.
