Enemies

“But love your enemies, and do them good, and lend, never despairing; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of the Most High: for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.”

Today’s verse is a lot. It’s one of those difficult verses that many people love to say and tell others, but do truly do it is another thing.

It’s easy to say that you love an enemy, but God take it a step further. Lend to them without expecting anything back. Now that’s really difficult for most of us. Your heart would really have to be in the right place to accomplish this.

It ends proving that the Lord is truly a loving and forgiving God. He is kind towards the unthankful and evil. How often do we fall into this category? We should also be like the Lord or do our best to.
