Be alert

“Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom withstand stedfast in your faith, knowing that the same sufferings are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.”

Today’s verse reminds us to focus on who our adversary really is. It’s easy to get confused and fall for his tricks. It’s easy to see the person that is causing us pain, but we seldom see behind the person to the root cause.

We all have weak moments and fails in life. We all screw up and regret actions and words. But we need to remember that everyone goes through this. We all make mistakes and give bad impressions to who we truly are.

Remember to forgive those that wrong you. The Lord always forgives us, we should imitate Him.
