Armor of the Lord

“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”

Today’s verse tells us that we don’t stand alone against the devil. The Lord gives us the tool that we need to stand firm and push him back.

We have

*The Belt of truth

*Breastplate of righteousness

*Shoes with the readiness of the Gospel of peace

*Shield of faith

*Helmet of salvation

*Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God

We have everything we need, but we have to choose to suit up and stand strong. It’s a choice against what we usually think of as desirable. But it’s a choice for what we know is right.
