Are we in a Murder or an Unkindness?

Do you feel the change in the world?

There is something every uniting and ever dividing.  Something more significant than we can see because we are in it.  As if we are in the changing of an era.  Much more extensive than the age of information, it feels like a change from the industrial revolution continuing to today.  Step back and look at all the changes that have happened in that time.  Think about our values, standards, luxuries, and virtues, and sins.  Take a second and compare how quickly humans have developed while at the same time blindly chasing our desires over a cliff.

When an era changes, there is always a complicated price-reward-risk factor that is only seen in hindsight. The slow jump from one technological state to another seldom gets noticed as we live such limited lives.  Despite that, this change is noticeable for the first time in human history if we just take a pause, withdraw from the world of distractions.  Are we ready for the risk?  What will happen if we fail?

Are we growing at such a rate that we are in mid-jump?  Then perhaps there is no turning back.  At what point will we cross the point of no return.  When will we become so dependent on our technology that without it, our civilization will fail?  Who is our leader, and where are we going?

This is a question that I thought of when taking a survey.  Who is really in control of our society, and where are we going?  We are taught that there are leaders, but these are modern, puppet leader, not the leaders of old that wore a cloak of controllable history and absolute authority.

Modern politicians have all been slaves to the massed, even though it seems the other way around.  The media is the white flag that they all chase after as if residing in Dante's vestibule of the Inferno. Continually following the movement, they are, in essence, uncommitted in life.  Lacking the inability to choose for themselves.

The internet and recent technologies have brought the human race together as never before.  As an entity with arms, legs, a brain, and senses, we must survive.  Information and misinformation have become the same.  The cognitive individual is being replaced with the white flag chasers that run over anything in their path.  Blindlessly chasing the illusion of united humanity and the good of mankind.

The apparent weakness is their lack of understanding of who is in charge.  Public opinion and misleading media create a very volatile and unstable situation.  When in the history of humanity, have the masses been correct?  There is no denying that the human group is vital for survival, but it, as a collective, should not lead, for the values of right and wrong can change as ravens flying in an "unkindness".

Visionaries are praised and hailed for being the 1% and leading us into new areas of development and thought.  With the same voice, we blame and crucify those who want change that doesn't fit our "groupthought" of unkindness.  Where has the masses' ability to critically think gone?  When did they begin lecturing us about the simplicity of a black and white life?  What happened to the grey areas where the 1% breed and develop?
