A Happy Ending

“and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away.”

Today’s verse reminds us that Christ is going to make everything right and good. The problem is that humans want instant gratification. It’s easy to lose faith if you want God to do something NOW.

It’s good to remember two things. First, our God is a faithful and loyal Lord. He will do what he says He will do. There is no need to worry or doubt. Have faith.

Second, if we are truly followers of Christ, we should want His will be done, and not ours. Of course, we can pray to Him for help and deliverance, but we should expect his schedule and not ours.

Have faith and trust in the Lord.
