I don't think so, because Crypto is mainly department on technology and if some advanced technology emerges then your total investment become Zero. Crypto should be viewed as short term investment option.

Cryptocurrencies was not meant to be an investment option. It was meant to provide flexibility in all transactions and give us the total control over our finance. That's the main reason why SATOSHI created Bitcoin. He didn't think of it as an investment option! He barely knew it would even be adopted with time.
