I sincerely believe the value of the first NBA Finals Moments on blockchain will increase in time because I saw how quickly demand for these NFTs increased. I can attest to this because I was actually part of the Early Beta testing phase. just got an update from the devs...the drops are now postponed due to unscheduled maintenance. just updated the article too. i do have a rare Metallic Gold LE LeBron, but a legendary would be nice to add! and thx for the tip! =)

a few months ago, I bought a Holo MMXX Legendary pack for $230. i was lucky, since i got a Ben Simmons Legendary Holo, and a LeBron James rare Metallic Gold LE (limited edition). the LeBron rare alone is selling for over $300 on the Marketplace, so i think i made a bit of money on that purchase. all the Holo packs are sold out. maybe a few thousand Beta testers had early access, but it was opened to the public a few weeks ago. there's a lot more demand after public access was allowed. some people prefer to buy vintage cars...right. thanks for visiting and thanks for the tip! =)
I'm struggling whether to buy or not to buy. Even though it almost seems like a no-brainer as you seem to be in the profit pretty much right after the purchase. No matter what I end up deciding, I gave you a 👍 for your article.
I will admit it is a gamble to buy packs. there's no guarantee that your pack will contain a valuable Moment, and i admitted that I was lucky. There were only 299 Lebron James rare Moments minted, and I managed to get one of them. To mitigate the risk of spending money on a pack with no valuable Moments, I have also purchased select Moments individually from the Marketplace. I bought a Luka Doncic base set Moment, and a Giannis Antetokounmpo base set Moment separately (combined cost roughly $35). As a reference, a Steph Curry base set Moment was $40 on its own, so I decided to look for more economical options. Don't bother trying to buy a Rare or Legendary Moment on the Marketplace...the popular ones sell for hundreds or thousands of dollars. For that reason, I don't mind trying my luck with a Rare or Legendary pack once and a while. I also completed the Early Adopter set by buying most of those Moments individually, probably spending about $50 total. The remaining Early Adopter packs have either sold out, or were burned by the devs, so the only place to buy them from now onwards is the Marketplace (or private sale/opensea.io, etc.). that was a relatively low investment into a series that may end up becoming valuable because only Beta testers had the first opportunity to buy them. People say that you should collect what you like. For me, that would include sports memorabilia. If you are not sure about whether or not to buy something like this, it's probably best to wait and find something that you love before spending your hard earned money on it. there will be other opportunities that come along, since the crypto industry is in its infancy! The collection frenzy has started for NFT NBA cards. 😁 These packs can be kept unopened after purchase or it's automatically opened for you?
they added the ability to keep packs sealed in a recent update. any burned Moments would still be available. in the future, sealed packs can be sold. I have some sealed Cali vs NY series packs...not sure how many i want to keep sealed.
It's a fortune! whooping $5000! But I know a fan would totally invest on such things..
