MyDefiPet and Cryptoblades: What are they and their future in the Metaverse space.
Ever since the name NFT, blockchain gaming, Play-To-Earn and Metaverse gathered a lot of attentions during the 3rd and last quarter of 2021, thousands of NFT games or projects have been developed almost, if not everyday, and lots of numbers of those projects reached its success but most of those projects have failed miserably and leave its players and investors for some reasons like bad economy for sustainability, transparency and bad development.
This article will be about my top 3 Play-To-Earn games that has been continuing to work even during the ups and downs of the project. These projects still exist and the team behind it still continues to reach the success of the project while new emerging projects just keep on failing. These NFT games are MyDefiPet, Cryptoblades and CoinRacer.
MyDefiPet - On Par With Axie Infinity's Gaming Experience.
Personally, MyDefiPet is literally the Blockchain Game that I can say on par with Axie Infinity which could definitely outmatched it when all features of the game is fully implemented and available for players to play and earn.
The game is a "lifestyle-based" pet blockchain game where players buy an egg and hatch it to have an own pet or just buy it in the marketplace. Players need to evolve and level up their pet to the maximum level in order to battle other players and win rewards from battling.
Currently, the only P2E mode of the game is through The Boss Fight they last for 15 days every season. Players can deploy their pet, evolved or not, in the battlefield together with other pets and join force to defeat the Boss Monsters. Everytime the pets finished attacking the Boss, the players will be rewarded with Elixir (In-game currently) that players can changed into $DPET token (main token). The rewards of Elixir depends on the stat of pets, the more damaged it can give the more Elixir you can get. That's why level up your pet to the limit.
Cryptoblades - Battle To Success!
Most people know what Cryptoblades is, who would not? Cryptoblades was once the number 1 NFT game in the Binance Smartchain where 50% of the chain's transactions came from the game.
The game requires players to have a Knight-like NFT to go into battle and a Sword NFT to use in the battle. It is recommended to level their NFTs along the way because the higher the levels of NFTs mean higher rewards. Everyday, the players can battle their NFTs up to 5 times and every wins will reward them with $SKILL tokens. However, every transactions in the game requires a fee from buying NFTs, listing NFTs in the marketplace, battling, leveling up NFTs and even withdrawing your earns tokens. The game is available in different chains like BSC, Houbi chain, OKEX and more and personally recommended to play the game in Houbi because the fee there is like nothing.
Are They Worth It?
These two games have been working continuously despite the negative feedbacks of its community for a couple of months now.
MyDefiPet was criticized for not releasing its main Play-To-Earn feature, the Arena, without knowing that the team have been planning thoroughly for the game's economy and for players sustainable gaming experience.
Cryptoblades was talked a lot of bad things because the team didn't anticipate the possible outcome for not realizing the mistake in their economy. The team admitted the mistake and were sorry but keeps on working up to this date to keep the game running and make it more sustainable in the near future.
