Don't just pray for Ukraine. Pray for Russia too.

The United States of America, China, United Kingdom, Germany and Russia are just few of the strongest countries in the world in terms of military capacity. There is no strong and specific identification of who really is on top of everyone as each of them has the probability of destroying each other with just a single click with their fingers.

As to this day, while the whole world is fighting the deadly decease of corona virus, a war took place in Ukraine that saddens most people around the world when they heard the news. Ukraine, the largest country in Europe next to Russia has been experiencing invasions from Russia itself for the goal to take over Ukraine again and stop it from joining NATO, which Russian President Vladimir Putin saw as a threat for its nation.

What is NATO?

North Atlantic Treaty Organization or NATO is an alliances between 30 countries - 28 in the European countries and 2 from the North American countries. The alliance was established after the World War II and a treaty that promised that it will support each other when one NATO member/country invaded by an enemy.

The Ukrainian government has already declared its independence away from Russia and asked all 30 leaders in NATO if they can join the alliance a year ago, unfortunately, according to the Ukraine President Volodymr Zelenskyy, none of them answer the question but rather answered that the NATO will give them any support when war happens in the country but won't send any troops to help defend Ukraine from invasion.

Russia Vs. Ukraine - Invade and defend.

According to statistics and rankings, Russia being in the top 5 strongest country in the world obviously has the advantage over Ukraine that only sits at #27 in the world ranking. But with these ranking, It doesn't mean that Ukraine can't give a fight when an all-out war happens between the two.

Ukraine is all alone in this fight. They've got nothing to support them defend their country. Ukraine President asks help from US and NATO but they were responded that US has nothing to do to help them and NATO can't help them simply because Ukraine is not part of NATO alliance. People all over the world sending prayers to Ukraine to get over this circumstance.

Praying for Russia to stop the war.

People around the world, and it is also all over in different social medias tweeting and posting with a hashtag "#PrayForUkraine". This is one way to tell that we care for what really is happening right now but I personally think that this is somewhat wrong.

Telling everyone to pray for Ukraine is like telling everyone to pray that Ukraine will win the war against Russia with many casualties - destroyed buildings, losing innocent lives and killing many soldiers. We don't need that!

Russia is capable of taking over Ukraine if no negotiations is considered. It even threatened other countries who plans to interfer the current situation that they will experience bad consequences that didn't experienced before if they do so. Russia is powerful. Russia can be unstoppable. And Russia is capable of starting a World War 3 and trash all the peace we have been keeping for a lot of years.

A new world war can happen anytime if any countries not associated with Ukraine intefer - and that will destroy the balance and peace of every governments in the world.

Final Say.

Many countries really want to help Ukraine but doesn't want to take the risks of stepping into a new World War. Russia has the lawful rights to do the steps it has taken. Other countries likely thoughts of it's better to sacrifice one nation in order to maintain the peace with other nations. Right now, all we can do is pray for both countries to negotiate it over to stop losing more lives and maintain peace and possibly stop the possibility of World War III.
