The Vision

Why is it so cold in here, Why is everyone crying, helloooooooooooooooooooo, can anyone hear me in here, Mum.........Dad...........can you hear me, why can't you all hear me,

I was shouting on my loudest voice but no one could hear me,what is going on why Is everybody wearing a sad look,why is mum ranting and shouting my name. I was confused on what was happening when I saw some group of men carrying a body on their shoulders and when they dropped the body alas I'm the one layed down dead.

Wait how come I can see myself in two ways 🤔. I'm dead and still alive but how. I can remember I was on my way to my parents house so how then did I end up dead. No this can't be possible,I can't be dead,I'm the only child of my parents.

As I was watching everybody in our compound crying then a man appear to me wearing white dress. He told me not to be afraid. He asked me to follow him. We walk but to me it like the breeze blowed us back to the copper's Lodge in Adamawa.

I was so happy to finally become a copper which means after one year of serving my father's land I will become the CEO of my dad's company. Oh I forgot to tell you my name and family where I came from. My name is hannah, the only daughter to Mr and Mrs Anayo Agunah. My parents are so wealthy,they give out to the poor and also family what God give unto them. Yes I also have a uncle who is so close to the family and he has a daughter who is of my age and live with us right from childhood,her name is Praise.

Yes myself and praise are serving together in adamawa so we rented an apartment. We do virtually everything together, wear same cloth,go out together,eat together, sleep on same bed,but never share our man. Our first day at camp we met Alex, I told Praise how I felt about Alex ,she was surprised because have never tell her I like any man before because I was too focused on my education. She ask me to talk to Alex but I resist. A day before leaving camp, by chance Alex walk up to me and ask for my number and that was how we started our love life.

I so much adore Alex that a day can't pass without talking about him. He cherish me alot, he showered me with love and care that I wish have met him long time ago. Praise on the other hand be telling me to just keep calm. One,three, six, eight months passed and we were so good together that we hardly argue on any issue talkless fighting. A month to finishing our service I discovered I was pregnant, I was so happy because I know I'm old enough and Alex can't deny the pregnancy because he was the only man I have known in my life. I told Praise I'm pregnant, to my surprise she got so angry that I was pregnant, she said what if Alex don't want the pregnancy but I told her I will have to discuss with Alex first.I went to Alex and discuss the issue with him and he was so happy to hear it, "Finally I am going to be a father" Alex said. I went back home fulfilled that atleast Alex accepted. I told Praise but she still felt bad about the pregnancy.

On the day of our final clearance, we had a party and we all were happy. I slept at Alex's place because I will be travelling back to lagos the following day but alone because Praise said she still has some things to do before coming home. When I woke up the following morning,I was having this stomach bug but I felt maybe it was the grooving last night so I just dressed up and Alex see me off to the park where I boarded a bus going down to lagos and that was what I can remember last and when I open my eye I saw people crying and my body laying lifeless on the ground.

Back to the man who took me to the lodge,I was surprised on what I saw Alex and Praise on bed together. Praise was talking to Alex that so if she had not poisoned me he would have accepted to marry me and what will happen to her and her unborn baby. I was astonished, how could my love and cousin planned and killed me,I cried and wanting to get hold of them but I couldn't, then the man said to me " my child I brought you here so you can know what will happen to you if you fall in love with Alex "

Then I woke up from my sleep on the bed in the camp lodge,so it was all a dream. I was so confused and happy at the same time,Praise was sleeping right beside me and I looked at her but thank God it was all revealed to me before it happened so I decided to leave Alex for Praise and not to tell her the reason.
