Societal influence

The society you meet yourself determine the life you live. The society either has a positive impact or negative impact in you. Currently, most youths are highly infected by the society we meet ourselves. Some choose to let it affect them negatively while some choose to let it be positive.

Adana and Adaeze (twins)were born in a ghetto. They were only 15years when their parents died during a ghetto riot, they were coming home and got caught up and shoot. The sisters have no family to turn to after their parents burial. They dropped out of school and tried to find something doing. Adana took after their mum's business which is roasting of plantain while Adaeze being the lazy one decided to go around looking for manna from above.

Adana do not only roast plantain but also hawk on the streets in the ghetto for living. She work and save so she can go back to school. She always advise her sister also to support her and start working so they can both save money together but Adaeze didn't listen to her, instead she make friends with the bad groups in the ghetto,she started stealing from people and also sleeping around with men at 16years. She sleep around with many men and got pregnant several times and did abortion.

At 20years, Adaeze was already a professional in what she does. One day,she came to the house when her sister was away at her road side business,she search the house for her sister's savings and took all the money and ran away from the ghetto. When Adana came back from work in the evening, she saw the room in a bad Shape and knew her sister came in. She said her savings box on the floor broken, she cried bitterly because her own twin sister just ruined her life. She had been saving so much for 5years so she can go to school and still have some money to start a decent work in school. Now she have to start all over again.

Adaeze didn't come back home, Adana tried to look for her but couldn't find her. Adana went to all the places she knows she can find her but to no avail. Adaeze went totally out of the street to another town. She met new friends there who were armed robbers. She joined them and they start terrorising the entire town. She was use as bait for any operation they want to go, she will go as a prostitute and the others will come in after she either drug the man after sex or confirm the person has money. She is just like and informat.

There was this operation they went last which involve a senator. The operation already was successful but unknown to them there was a cctv in the hotel reception which captured only her face when she came in with the senator. The police were looking for her and she was traced by a phone call to her location. She was arrested and tortured before she confessed. She was asked to take the police to her other friends but by the time they got to their house the others have ran away. She was taken to court and sentenced to 25years imprisonment.

Luckily for Adana, one of her customers who was a street photographer came to her one day to allow him take a picture of her and her business,she agreed and few months after the customer came and told her he will like to make her a model because after he posted her picture people love I and he was paid huge amount of money for her picture in his gallery. He took her to his place and took her shopping 🛍, they went to the salon to make her hair and after a long day beautifying Adana, when she got home she look herself in the mirror and smile, but that moment she remember her sister,she feel sad 😥 for not knowing her whereabout.

Adana live a dream life after while Adaeze spent her life in prison and died of kidney cancer in prison and Adana couldn't get the chance to see her sister again.

You see, we have out choices to make in life. Despite the environment Adana choose to live a good life and didn't allow the society to overwhelmed her life, Adaeze on the other hand let the society and environment take over her life and she end up losing it all.
