MADRID—Changes to the tongue, the hands, or the bottoms of the feet could give an early sign of COVID-19 disease, Spanish scientists found in an examination introduced on Tuesday.

The ends rose up out of examination did among 666 patients with Covid-19 at Madrid's IFEMA field medical clinic set up during the principal wave of the pandemic, the territorial government said.

One of every four patients said they had seen changes to their tongue, while four out of 10 spotted surprising signs on the palms of their hands or bottoms of their feet.
