The month of June is gone, and July begins. Hopefully, it will bring joy and many BCHs to all of us.
Yesterday, I spent most of the morning taking care of the plants on my balcony. And also, I've taken my time to see my achievements on BCH in June.
So I'm going to tell you how my green day was.
Some background - A visit to a nursery in La Union
A couple of days ago, during one of the driving lessons that I'm giving to my son. We went a little further where we use to go. And we went to visit one of the many nurseries in a place called La Union in Caracas. It's an area close to a town called El Hatillo, where you can find some small crop farms and some nurseries as well.
Since the Pandemic began, I hadn't bought plants, and my stock of aromatic herbs on the balcony was quite depleted. My idea was to buy thyme and sage, as the plants I had of both herbs dried up after a long time with me. But in the nursery, there were neither, so I ended up buying rosemary, mint, and a small chive plant. We've enjoyed our time visiting the nursery as well and took some pics.
This is one of the finest nurseries in the area, and we couldn't resist taking some pictures of the miniature garden they have in the center of the place.
It's the closest thing to my dream place to live, including the mini too.
Of course, I couldn't resist not wandering around the orchids. I haven't had an orchid at home for a long, long time.
This is a Vanda Orchid. Maybe one day, my earnings on BCH will allow me to have one.
But what I can afford, and I'll be sure to take one with me next time. It's one of these colorful cherry peppers plants.
Bye, bye June with some green on my balcony
One of the things I like to do when I cook is using some fresh herbs from my balcony. And even though I didn't get what I was initially looking for, I have the perfect excuse to come back soon for the thyme and the sage. And I'm happy with what I brought.
So after pruning and fertilizing the existing plants in my balcony with some crushed eggshells and new soil, I took care of my new plants.
I love rosemary, and I don't mind having more than one since I use it a lot. Baked or boiled potatoes with rosemary are my favs. And I'm trying once again with the mint.
I've never had much success with my mint plants in the past. They happen to dry out very quickly on my balcony. Hopefully, this time it will last me more. I got some good advice from my friend @Yelenab at Noise. And later today, I'll replant it into a bigger pot to give more space to the roots to grow.
And that's for now what I did on my green balcony, on a farewell day for June. Today, I will move the mint and plant the chives. And now speaking of green. What happened with my BCHs in June?
June, my best month so far in Noise.cash
June was by far my best month in Noise.cash. I've made 0,1588 BCHs just making noise. My earnings in June, in Noise alone, were $80.98 at a BCH price of $510. And with a higher potential profit in dollars. Since eventually, the BCH will be mooning. And for now, I'm on hold, at least until I hit 1 BCH.
Maybe for some, it isn't much. But for me, it's enough for a month doing microblogging on a platform that I love and having a lot of fun interacting with other noisy people. And I'm grateful for it.
For now, I don't include my earnings in Read.cash. Which believe it or not, I've had. Thanks to the immense generosity of my sponsors and those who visit and upvote my articles and comments. But for now, and until further notice, my earnings here won't go yet to my BCH achievement report. But to my fund to give back to this wonderful community.
And here I leave these random lines. Perhaps, are nothing more than an excuse to share with you. And wish you all a month of July full of good things. And plenty of chances to get more BCH.
