I don't feel the Christmas spirit yet. There are no children going caroling like before. In the past, you could see people dancing and singing Christmas carols in the streets, and the streets were bright with Christmas lights. But now, it doesn't feel the same.
You have to bring that inner child out and go around caroling, hehe. Get a snack in first of course 😁 Now when you say like before are you referring to pre-covid?
Indeed, in our country, festivities indeed start with September, but it's busy at work so I can't really confirm if it'still that way to me. This might come off sad or weird, but it's not the same as when I was younger. It's more colorful to me back then. Maybe because I was younger and with not much responsibilities and burdens to handle lol.
It could possibly be a slough of things. Times are hard in many countries due to the economic turmoil. I have some of the same feeling about the holidays. There not like they use to be for me either. I say this about all holiday not just XMAS. I use to be so involved in many of them, now they are tapered down a lot.
Yes, economic issues indeed. In our country, inflation is real, but not much increase in wages. We just get by through working harder, and more prayers. Will still do our best to be happy for the holidays, after all it's Christ's season. And I love Him. :))

Ah, well, life goes on, here you must have already seen how the country is, a complete madness of corruption. But I continue living, overcoming obstacles. The leg wound is almost 6 months old, and it still hasn't completely closed. And well, I won't go into more details so as not to cry. I'm still fighting Bob, you know how he is. I have seen that he has done very well in the hive, I need that luck hahaha, buy me some $10 go go go hamburgers! (joking) XD. A hug friend, I hope your son and family are well.
I got new phone been literally on it 3 hours already trying to get everything linked up. Seed phrase used, this was by far the easiest of things. Yes I seen that election hoax there. Keep fighting, keep living, & beat any obstacle you can. It really is worth taking the next breath. Yes Hive I've done OK. It's an up and down rollar coaster there. One minute your knocking it out of the park the next you are not. I've found you just got to keep going! Thanks for the good wishes & I wish you exactly the same.
I have had to change phones, it is very annoying to have to transfer everything from one phone to another. In my case it takes 2 or 3 days to do it, I have everything offline backup, on an external hard drive. Things are not going well for me...many financial problems, I am living on $60 a month and I have a lot of debt($500 or more =( )...I don't know how much longer I can really take. I struggle to overcome obstacles, and sometimes it is difficult for me to ask for help, but the situation is truly horrible! I'm still fighting in hive, it's what has kept me afloat, but once here at read.cash everything got difficult, I lost a significant income, so any donation to buy me a hamburger is welcome!(is not joke this time) I want this whole personal and Venezuelan crisis to end. S.O.S.
It's been almost 2 years since i drop by here😁So glad some old friends are still here. We don't feel yet the festivity anyway coz of the recent floodings due to a storm. We're just bouncing back and hopefully feel the spirit of the coming holidays in a few more weeks. Soooo glad to visit here once more. God bless!
