An Exhausting Day

On Wednesday we start building our Thesis, it was such an exhausting task since we need to remove piles of sand and gravel from the place where are the project will stand. However, this afternoon is the most exhausting one. At morning, I woke up late and I thought my class was at afternoon but little did I know, it was a morning class at 8 AM.

I immediately took a bath then prepared my things, I skipped breakfast cause I'm planning to go home at lunch. However when I am at the entrance of campus, the guard told me to fill up a paper which stated that I violated a rule, I am not wearing a uniform since I forgot to wash it.

But the guard was so nice, he told me it was just first offense then let me enter the campus. I came on our room and I saw my classmates busy doing their task, some are playing, some are checking their paper and some are doing the activity on PLC.

I didn't do anything just roaming around and good timing my classmates. One 1 PM we decided to rest at forest area of campus since it was so hot and at forest the temperature is warm. They also started grinding the flat bar to attach on our case for solar panel.

We can't start digging since it was so hot and we are afraid of dehydration and exhaustion due to heat. I helped them aligning the bent steel and also assisting them on cleaning impurities on welding angle bar.

I'm removing impurities on angle bar and also shining it using a steel brush. I forgot to bring extra shirt that's why I ended up using while t-shirt and my slacks.

They also finish painting the brace of our solar panel and if you see our panel that's how big it is, it's size is 2 meters by 1 meter and it was 2 pieces that's why our angle bar size is 4 meters by 1 meter which is so long.

At 2 PM I already start digging holes for our foundation, it's not easy task to do cause I was exposed on heat and we only had manual equipment and power tools to dig a 4 inches thick cement. It took us 4 hours to dig 2 holes in cement with a depth of 0.4 meters which our steel will be imbed.

This day is too exhausting but what most exhausting is I don't have any money to contribute since there are lots of things to buy including main components like battery, wires, circuit breaker, bolts and nuts that will be assembled. I am praying for a miracle that would happen cause honestly I am losing hope but still fighting for the success of our thesis.
